Altar Server Pledge “I promise to attend Mass regularly and serve most of the time assigned to me on the schedule. If I cannot serve, I will obtain a substitute”. I also promise to act respectfully in church and set an example for those younger than me”. Parent’s Pledge ”I promise to support my child by helping him/her get to church at least 15-20 minutes early prior to serving and assisting him or her with study to become a good altar server. I promise to help my child obtain a substitute if my child cannot serve. Finally, I promise to obtain dark shoes (boys) or nice sandals/shoes (girls) for altar server attire”.
